This may not stop you or anyone from labeling me, but if I must wear a label then I am an independent looking at both sides manipulation and lies. What you do is drill down into the statistics, look at other variables, and bring the two parties a bit closer, but you do not change the article's conclusion. While statistics can be manipulated, if you do not dispute the article's statistics, then consider this is a presidential election year and the battle cry for the republicans that democrat policies do not create jobs, but republican policies do. Presidents set policies and the Bloomberg statistics say that the republican battle cry is a lie. Drilling down into statistics will not change that. It is the big business influence, not the party influence, that matters most. You ultimately support what the comment just before yours suggests from a democratic standpoint. As I see it, both parties empower big business, one just appears to distribute the wealth to more people than the other.
