maybe i missed something... what did he do to everyone here to warrant a public demand for an apology?... i read his words, he was making a point about how muslim women are beaten property and how western women don't seem to understand or appreciate the freedoms we have in the west... not nearly perfect, but how can we miss that perspective?... to focus on semantics, to ignore his point and demand an apology - i wonder for what?... he didn't say any of you had no complaint about your experience, in fact, i see him saying you, true victims of real harm, are the ones with the right to complain...

a drunk respecting physical boundaries by not touching, but disrespecting verbal boundaries by continuing to talk when asked to stop talking, that is not the same thing you all went through...

i hope this makes sense to you... i hope you can see the vast different between what you experienced and what happened in the elevator and the plight of muslim women overseas...

vastly different levels of abuse...

to make the biggest issue out of the verbal abuse, that belittles your experience and the more severe abuses...

if you want rational people to feel your plight, be rational...

demanding an apology for pointing out that verbal abuse is not nearly as bad as physical abuse is irrational...

and please see that if you find offense in someone's opinion, you are not being abuse by that person...
