my comment:
my first reaction, before even seeing the commercial referred to, is that this is an incrediblly self-righteous complaint about what you label a smug sanctimoneous commercial about poopie paper, carbon footprints, corporate america, outsourcing, and whatever else you felt like spinning into your vomit, as you called it... this gives tree-huggers a bad name... if a corporation does a good thing and you do such a self-righteous negative spin on it, you are no different than the corporation advertisers who are at least paid to to that... i can see some people complaining about the roll bouncing and not spinning well, prefering the tube (which is probably why it was introduced)... teachers, who have used the cardboard tubes rolled paper products will not have to but cardboard tubes from a manufacturer of cardboard tubes for their classroom projects... and will the last few dozen sheets on the roll may be disposed of unused because it is not sanitary or just a pain to unroll... spins can be spun in any direction and all seem equally ridiculous and unnecessary to me, but then, so can comments that mimic or mimock what they are relating to...
