final warning?
the part of religion that alienates me personally is conversionism, the forced demand that i think one way and reject all other thought... there are and have been hundreds of good cultures living in peace and respect for all life with just as many different belief systems... there is much good thought in your message... my question for you and all religious people is will you hurt me if i do not believe as you believe?... will you shun me?... will you try to repress my life, my thought, my love?

clarifying 'final warning'
i like your video presentation, even if at times your anger gives you a more threatening appearance that i believe you wish to convey. these are tense times, especially when discussing matters of religion and politics. my concerns - about forced indoctrination of children and forced thought-police and forced lifestyles and forced belief systems remains with any religion, in a word, conversionism. why do most religious people act like they want to take over and control the world?

first freedom first - democracy not theocracy
"May it be to the world, what I believe it will be, (to some parts sooner, to others later, but finally to all,) the signal of arousing men to burst the chains under which monkish ignorance and superstition had persuaded them to bind themselves, and to assume the blessings and security of self-government. All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them legitimately, by the grace of God." -Thomas Jefferson
The brilliant man who penned our greatest national document understood that faith had become delusional and corrupt and that religion moved far from the true? meaning of God. Let us hope that the truth he wrote of his time in the letter to Roger C. Weightman on June 24, 1826 (in the last letter he penned) that "All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man." is still true and that eyes remain open to the self-evident truths Thomas Jefferson expressed so well.

does islam hate jews?
what people did is make a mockery of faith by dividing the true message into mortally oppositional families. is that what the story meant, that brother was to kill brother? each religion tries to prove it is the best, the only true path, when in truth, the roots are the same and it is your choice - to kill your brother or to respect differences and live in peace. names are just labels, what matters are deeds. live or die, love or hate, that is the choice. simplify.

oldest religion - does it matter?
